Having data on locally detected environmental impacts allows us to better understand the magnitude and particularities of plastic pollution in Menorca. This information is essential to identify the most affected ecosystems, the most polluting elements, and the priority areas for action.

This section of the Observatory is dedicated to collecting, analysing, and interpreting data on the environmental impacts of plastic pollution on the island, with the aim of generating useful knowledge to support decision-making, guide mitigation actions, and raise awareness about the urgency of the problem.
