The PescArt Menorca exhibition can be visited at the Institut Menorquí d'Estudis

The exhibition "PescArt Menorca" can be visited at the Institut Menorquí d'Estudis (Carrer des Castett, 28, Maó) in the coming weeks. The exhibition shows the work done in the pilot test of reuse of fishing nets by artisans from Menorca.

The exhibition shows the whole process lived during the pilot test, from the first workshops with the artisans to the final products; the benefits provided by initiatives such as these circular economy; in addition to being able to see the products that the artisans have made, among other things.

"PescArt Menorca" has had the participation of fishermen, artisans of Menorca, the Menorca Without Plastic Alliance, the Foundation for People with Disabilities of Menorca and Menorca Preservation.

This reuse initiative has been carried out within the framework of the "Plastic Waste Free Islands Project" (Plastic Waste Free Islands Project) promoted by the International Union for Nature Conservation (IUCN) with the financial support of the Edier and Martine Primat Foundation and the Fundació Foment del Turisme de Menorca.
