ANALYSIS ES FREUS DAY 23/08/2024

On August 23 we were with some students from a Training and Employment Course of the Maó City Council making a collection in the area of Es Freus.

From Aliana Menorca Sin Plástico we have analysed more than 500 wastes, of which the ones we have found the most have been:

• 156 bags or fragments of bags, large wrappers, etc.
• 153 plastic caps and caps.
• 50 fragments of polystyrene.
• 23 snack containers.
• 20 bottles and glass fragments.
• 20 cotton buds.
• 15 straws.
• 15 cans.
• 15 plastic bottles.
• 13 plastic cups.

Activity to raise awareness, visualise and analyse plastic pollution subsidised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and the Natural Environment of the Government of the Balearic Islands.
